🌐 The Global Network 🌐TANTRUM www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Tantrum.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: PREDACON FUNCTION: FUELER FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 25 "Anger gets me running better than any fuel." Profile: Tantrum prefers using brute force and threats in situations in which reason would suffice. He's been known to knock a building down when all he had to do was turn a doorknob to get inside. He builds himself up into such overheated rages that steam puffs out of his nasal ducts. No one knows the source of Tantrum's chronic fits of anger, but his fellow Predacons suspect a fuel line in his cerebro-center isn't feeding properly into his logic circuitry, making him incapable of acting rationally for sustained periods. Everyone who's offered to help repair this problem has only succeeded in becoming another unfortunate victim of it. As Tantrum is fond of saying, "I don't like anyone messing around inside my head!" To dissipate his aggressive energies, Tantrum will usually attack objects like highway trestles and small buildings. He usually demolishes these structures with one blow, but always feels better afterwards. Abilities: Tantrum has four exterior fuel tanks, one mounted above each leg, in his buffalo mode. He's able to carry a total of 1,600 gallons of extra fuel in these tanks for himself and his comrades. His normal range is 1200 miles, but, when his spare tanks are full, he can go an additional 8000 miles. Each of his horns can emit bolts of 20,000-volt electricity, often uncontrollably when Tantrum is angry. In robot mode, he uses a catalytic carbine, which shoots a stream of highly reactive chemicals that combine with whatever metals they hit to form new and usually very harmful alloys. He also has an electro-sword, which generates a powerful, often disabling electrical field that takes the form of a web of lightning-like strands of electricity. Tantrum combines with his fellow Predacons to form Predaking. Weaknesses: Although heavily armored, Tantrum can suffer severe damage if one of his exterior fuel tanks is breached by artillery fire and blows up. His often volatile mental state makes him as much a menace to himself as anyone else.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TENTAKIL www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Tentakil.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: SEACON FUNCTION: UNDERWATER DEMOLITIONS FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 47 "Embrace your enemies... until they're terminated." Profile: Don't be deceived by Tentakil's gentle touch and soothing words - he is undeniably the cruelest, deadliest Seacon. His style is as distinctive as it is lethal: he showers a potential victim with kindness, offering him help, even complimenting his appearance. And then, once he has gained the confidence of his victim, Tentakil moves in for the kill. In a flash, kindness turns to cruelty. The soft caress of his limbs turns into a deadly, unyielding stranglehold. He seems to take a perverse pleasure in these amiable charades, enjoying them even more than their inevitable, lethal conclusions. As his fellow Seacon, Nautilator, likes to say about him, "Tentakil can charm the fuel right out of your chassis." And given half a chance, he will. Abilities: In octopus mode, Tentakil can crush a submarine as if it were a soda can. Powerful electromagnets embedded within his tentacles enhance his strength to awesome proportions, giving Tentakil the vise-like grip that he is infamous for. Electrically charged feelers on his tentacles' surfaces can short-circuit and stun anything of an electrical nature on contact. While retreating, he can discharge a cloud of viscous black grease to hinder any pursuers. In weapons mode, he turns into twin 50,000 volt lightning rifles, which can operate on land and sea. He is insulated from any electrical attacks himself, so the rifles can't electrocute him underwater. In robot and octopus modes, he wields dual laser-guided slime blasters, which shoot globs of highly adhesive gelatinous goo. He combines with his fellow Seacons to form the super-robot Piranacon. Weaknesses: A mysterious short circuit in his wiring often inhibits Tentakil's ability to transform from one mode to another. This causes him severe problems when he's stuck in robot mode underwater, or octopus mode on land. In these situations, the modes are poorly suited for the environments. In fact, on land, his octopus mode is more likely to keel over than take a step.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐THRUST www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Thrust1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 17 "My engines' roar is my enemies' song of doom!" Profile: Rattling the very air with the roar of his jet engines, Thrust is one Decepticon who cares little for the ways of deceit. He believes that half the battle is won if he can "psych out" his enemy by his mere arrival, and so he makes no attempt to be sneaky. His ability to suddenly and powerfully accelerate can literally shake apart a nearby building, and he delights in the havoc that ensues. He is a loud-mouthed braggart who is prone to pompously claim certain victory before a fight has barely begun. But in truth, his courage is as much bluster and noise as his actions and words: a strong counterattack by an opponent usually results in a view of Thrust's tailwings as he recedes into the distance. Abilities: In jet mode, Thrust can fly at speeds of Mach 2.5, but can accelerate in 20 seconds to twice that speed, which he can maintain for up to two minutes. He carries two concussion bomb missile launchers and two compressed air rifles, each of which can shoot a hole in inch-thick steel plate from a distance of 1200 yards. Weaknesses: Thrust isn't very brave. If he's not careful when rapidly accelerating, his engines can stall, causing him to fall.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐THUNDERCRACKER www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Thundercracker1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "The deadliest weapon is terror." Profile: Soaring swiftly through the clouds, Thundercracker gazes with scorn on the creatures below. He is utterly contemptuous of anything that cannot lift itself off the ground and claim the sky. Occasionally, he expresses that contempt by diving and striking, leaving flame and destruction as he again speeds upward. Yet he is not totally convinced of the cause that he serves. Only the words of his Decepticon companions about the rightness of their cause, the destiny of conquest that is their birthright, convince him to go on. He is persuaded because he wants to be persuaded. Without a sense of purpose, Thundercracker would find his life unbearable. Abilities: Like his fellow Decepticon jet fighters, Thundercracker can attain speeds of up to 1500 mph. He has the additional ability to produce controlled sonic booms of deafening magnitude that can be heard within a 200-mile radius. He can launch a drone rocket with a range of 500 miles that behaves similarly to a cruise missile and has the concussive force of 3000 lbs. of TNT. He has a shoulder-mounted automatic incendiary gun that shoots at 100 rounds per minute heat-resistant ceramic bullets containing a highly explosive flammable material that ignites on impact. Weaknesses: Lingering doubts in Thundercracker's subconscious sometimes surface and impede his effectiveness, particularly when innocent human lives are endangered. Usually his fear of Decepticon Leader Megatron compels him to overlook these doubts.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TOPSPIN www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Topspin.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: LAND & SEA ASSAULT FIRST APPEARANCE: - "The thrill is in the journey." Profile: No mountain is high enough, no river is wide enough to stop this one-robot wrecking crew. The more difficult the terrain to be traversed, the more Topspin likes it. Without the constraints of an Earth vehicular disguise like the ones most of his fellow Autobots have been given by the Ark, he can use the superior mobility and versatility of his Cybertronic vehicular form to go almost anywhere on land or water. On a personal level, he considers his conquest of a steep precipice or a raging river as much a victory as any victory over the Decepticons that may result from an Autobot attack. As Topspin likes to point out, "I take pride in my work." Abilities: In vehicle mode, Topspin is propelled by two rear-mounted jet engines, which can accelerate him to speeds of 300 mph on a flat surface. He also is equipped with two pontoons projecting from his front, which allow him to travel up to 80 mph on water, like a hydrofoil. Using two side-mounted high-voltage electric blasters, two small hand-mounted lasers, and a powerful particle beam rifle, Topspin can release a near-unrelenting barrage of devastating force. Like his brother, Twin Twist, he can spring from his vehicle mode into his robot mode in less than half a second. His weaponry is available to him in either mode. Weaknesses: His preoccupation with personal glory often distracts Topspin from more threatening situations, such as a Decepticon attack. The high fuel demands of his jet engines and weaponry leave him more vulnerable to exhausting his energy supplies than most other Autobots.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TRACKS www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Tracks1.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 14 "Looking good is what life is all about." Profile: "Lousy Earth-lover," is one of the nicer epithets used by some of Tracks' comrades to describe his behavior. After all, he makes no secret of the fact that he prefers the sleek and classy Earth form given to him by the Ark over his original robot form. If the war didn't require him to sometimes revert to his Autobot form, he might stay a car all the time. He attributes his fellow Autobots' criticism to jealousy on their part - they don't look as good as he does in vehicular form, he reasons. But their displeasure stems from a more serious consideration. They feel the struggle against the Decepticons should be Tracks' prime concern, not his own looks. Vanity can blind anybody to the truth, even a robot. Abilities: In vehicular mode, Tracks can reach speeds of 280 mph on the ground. He can also sprout wings from under his rear fenders, which allow him to fly at sub-sonic speeds, and he can adapt a launcher to his hood that fires two heat-seeking incendiary missiles up to 60 miles. The missiles can be used in robot mode also, along with his black beam gun, which shoots a beam of black light that adheres for several minutes, effectively blinding anyone hit by it. Weaknesses: Tracks' vanity is his greatest foe. His combat abilities are impaired by his concern over marring his appearance. He often remains in his more vulnerable vehicular mode in conflict situations when wisdom dictates he revert to his robot mode.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TRAILBREAKER www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Trailbreaker.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: DEFENSIVE STRATEGIST FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "An Autobot's as good as the fuel in his tank." Profile: "Looks like some pigeonoids can't find their nest." That's how Trailbreaker describes a full-scale attack by a battalion of flying Decepticons. He'll make light of anything, no matter how dire the situation, and has been known to cross the optic circuits of Huffer while he's in his rest mode. Even Huffer laughed at that one. He's the Autobot cheerleader. But there's a darker side to Trailbreaker. He is the most fuel-consuming Autobot and thus believes he is a liability to the group. He often has volunteered to be left behind in battle situations rather than use up precious resources. His lack of self-esteem is apparent to Autobot Leader Optimus Prime, who continually reassures him of his value. Abilities: Trailbreaker's force-field projector can create an invisible barrier with up to a 30-foot radius that withstands penetration by all forms of projectiles, all wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation except those of extremely high intensity, and temperatures as high as 800,000 degrees Centigrade. A sustained assault on the force-field, if strong enough, can eventually weaken and destroy it. Mounted behind his head, Trailbreaker wears a radio-jamming broadcaster. He can transmit signals on 64 frequencies simultaneously and often uses it to jam enemy attempts at jamming Autobot communications. Weaknesses: His high fuel consumption and slowness of movement make Trailbreaker particularly vulnerable in certain situations. He'll often mope about his handicaps and forget about his responsibilities as a consequence. But his bravery and defensive prowess are unquestioned, and he can usually recover his wits in time to save himself and his comrades.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐Printer-friendly version TRIGGERHAPPY www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Triggerhappy1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: TARGETMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: BLOWPIPE FUNCTION: GUNNER FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 1 (Triggerhappy), HEADMASTERS # 4 (Blowpipe) "Have gun, have fun!" Profile: Long suspected of having one too many disconnected circuits in his logic center, Triggerhappy is a crazed, computerized creep who thinks everything is a big joke. Even in the midst of a raging battle, he's usually too busy laughing uncontrollably and drooling lubricant to look where he's shooting. Worse for him, he doesn't pay much attention to who's shooting in his direction either. He is seemingly intoxicated by the sounds of his own gunfire, staggering about blissfully as he blasts away. The occasional battlefield success he has is a result of the panic his wild shooting sprees sometimes generate among opponents. Those who've known him for a long time trace his erratic behavior back millions of years ago, to an episode in a Decepticon warrior-trainee boot camp: Triggerhappy was practicing the use of a proton machine gun while riding a hoverboard. He slipped and fell on his head, all the while firing wildly away. A half dozen of his teachers were unintentionally disintegrated. Fearing the worst, Triggerhappy was happily surprised when the camp's commander lauded him for his lethal expertise and graduated him on the spot. He has adopted that manic offensive strategy ever since, although no one is sure if he acts this way because of his initial success with it or because the bump on his head shook a few wires loose. Triggerhappy is paired with Blowpipe, the conniving, envious brother-in-law of the evil Nebulan group's leader, Lord Zarak. On Nebulos, Blowpipe managed Lord Zarak's political career and was chiefly responsible for arranging his rise to fame and power. When Lord Zarak fell from grace and allied himself with the Decepticons, Blowpipe thought it prudent to follow, so he did. Abilities: Triggerhappy transforms to a turbo-thrust jet fighter, with a maximum speed of 1980 mph and range of 4,000 miles. He's equipped with two twin side-mounted, rapid-fire photon pulse guns, used mostly for attacks on other flying craft. Blowpipe is bio-engineered to have the ability to convert to a powerful compressed air cannon, which Triggerhappy wields in robot mode. Weaknesses: Needless to say, given the wasteful manner in which he uses his weapons, Triggerhappy often finds himself out of ammunition during the most inopportune occasions - such as in the middle of a full-scale Autobot counterattack.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TRYPTICON www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Trypticon1.jpgwww.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Trypticon2.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: ASSAULT BASE FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 27 "Total victory requires total destruction." Profile: Trypticon doesn't stop blasting away until he's wading hip-deep in smoking rubble. He's the most efficient, lethal fighting machine yet devised by the Decepticons. He is completely without mercy or remorse. The only emotion that he is programmed to display is hatred. He hates everyone and everything. This feeling is always present; it only varies in intensity. He restrains his loathing for his fellow Decepticons enough to be minimally cooperative, but his hatred for Autobots knows no bounds. Humans do not inspire such strong feelings in him; he considers them barely worthy of his attention. But he also thinks they get in the way too much. Without blinking an optical module, he would level an entire city just to get a clear shot at an Autobot. He is supremely confident in his abilities, but unsure of the Decepticons' goals. Although he believes he will one day rule the Decepticons, he has so little use for anyone else that this prospect barely has any appeal to him. Trypticon makes no attempt to hide his feelings... except to himself. He can't admit to himself that his hatred for others is a mask for his own self-loathing. He'd rather be doing anything other than what he does. He secretly finds warfare boring and pointless. But he accepts the fact that fate has forced him into his role of the ultimate warrior... and nobody does it better! Abilities: In dinosaur mode, Trypticon has incredible strength and is virtually impervious to attack. A rocket backpack allows him to jump a distance of 20 miles. He can shoot heat-seeking plasma bombs from his mouth and he carries a particle beam cannon within his sinus cavity. His optical sensors shoot high frequency hypno-beams. When locked on to the eyes of another Transformer, these beams carry powerful electromagnetic currents that can override their target's own mental processes, allowing Trypticon to control that Transformer. If the intended victim is strong-willed enough or manages to turn away from Trypticon's gaze quickly enough, he can avoid this fate. In city mode, Trypticon opens up to reveal landing and repair bays and a communication center that includes antennae for local and interspace transmissions. An anti-gravity repulsor disk at each end prevents anyone from approaching closer than 1,000 feet unless Trypticon so chooses. Rotating scanners on top of his assembly can blast a hole through a city block of buildings. In mobile battle station mode, Trypticon is perhaps at his most dangerous. He has a range of 8,000 miles and can attain a speed of 800 mph. In addition, he has a flashing laser cannon, rotating blasters, destructo beams, and dual photon launchers. Weaknesses: Trypticon has no known weaknesses.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐TWIN TWIST www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Twin_Twist1.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: DEMOLITIONS FIRST APPEARANCE: - "War is wherever I want it to be." Profile: Nothing is more exhilarating to Twin Twist than the feeling of sinking his drills into a slag of unblemished carbon-steel. Like a child in a wading pool, he splashes among the shards of useless metal that result from his destructive fury. And his habit of showing off his talents to almost any target, whether an enemy Decepticon or a harmless lamp post, causes extreme concern for Autobot Leader Optimus Prime. Optimus realizes that the wrecking of property belonging to innocent Earthlings can only hurt the Autobot cause. Twin Twist's wild, uncontrollable nature is a big plus in battle, but many of his fellow Autobots think he's more trouble than he's worth. Abilities: Nearly as mobile as his brother Topspin, Twin Twist can go up to 200 mph using his four wheels and his two tractor modules in vehicle mode. He'll usually follow Topspin's initial assault on a target with his own: he uses his two diamond-tipped drills, which can go as fast as 6000 rpm, to penetrate virtually any fortification up to three yards thick. He carries a semi-automatic cannon-rifle that fires explosive shells, each with the energy equivalent of 100 pounds of TNT. He can transform from vehicle to robot mode in .4 seconds, but can only use his drills in vehicle mode. Weaknesses: His reckless nature often gets him into trouble, and has even led Optimus to consider making him inoperative. He is at a relative disadvantage in robot mode without the use of his drills.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐VORTEX www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Vortex1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: COMBATICON FUNCTION: INTERROGATION FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 24 "I'm Vortex, fly me - if you dare!" Profile: Vortex always gives you a ride to remember - in your nightmares! He takes an evil, cackling delight in trapping Autobots inside him and taking them on a spinning, dizzying flight of death-defying aerial stunts. As the Combaticon interrogator, he finds it an extremely effective - and enjoyable - way of doing his job. Autobots are easy prey to his techniques: Vortex grabs them off the ground, lifts them in the air and attempts to coerce them into divulging secrets. When Vortex is finished with the Autobots, he lets them plummet to the ground. A free ride from Vortex is definitely not worth the price. Abilities: In helicopter mode, Vortex can attain a speed of 300 mph. His range is 1200 miles. He can whirl his rotor blades fast enough to create wind funnels that spin at speeds of 200-300 mph, powerful enough to lift a locomotive off its rails. He can suspend himself in the air in almost any position, which allows him to direct these funnels anywhere he wants. In robot mode, he uses a semi-automatic glue gun. It shoots capsules of highly adhesive liquid that will cement anything it hits to anything its target touches. Vortex combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the giant robot "Bruticus." Weaknesses: Although Vortex's wind funnels can be a devastating weapon, its use reduces his maneuverability and leaves him vulnerable to attack. It also subjects his rotor blades to extreme stress and possible metal fatigue and fracturing.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WARPATH www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Warpath1.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 17 "A good shot is worth more than a good intention." Profile: Warpath thinks he's a lot more impressive than his comrades do. Certainly, no one would argue with his sharpshooting ability. It just seems at times he's more concerned with showing off than the welfare of the Autobots as a whole. But his boisterous, loud-mouthed personality makes him welcome company and his raucous sense of humor can bring cheer to the gloomiest situations. Only one thing seems to upset him: any small nick or scratch to his gun barrel. He's both very proud and very vain about his weapon. His comrades fear that if his gun ever suffered anything as big as a dent, Warpath might be too depressed to talk for a month! Abilities: In his tank mode, Warpath can travel over the roughest terrains at speeds of up to 30 mph. He can hit a hex-nut at a distance of 1.5 miles with a shell from his gun. He has a variety of shells available to him: explosive, thermal, cryogenic, acid, and sonic, among others. His thick vanadium-steel armor can withstand all but the toughest blows. He has great strength in tank and robot modes. Weaknesses: Warpath is virtually helpless if upended in tank mode, His movements can be severely hindered if his treads are damaged. He's slow, but his firepower and toughness help compensate for this deficiency.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WEIRDWOLF www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Weirdwolf.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: HEADMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: MONZO FUNCTION: TRACKER FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 3 "My pleasure with my enemy's pain comes." Profile: A quick glance at Weirdwolf's motto might lead you to think that it's either a typographical error or this particular Decepticon has some seriously crossed wires! We're happy to say that the latter is true. Though possessing hyper-keen senses and an alert, sharp mind, Weirdwolf is something of a mess in the neural department. We all occasionally talk to ourselves, but the trouble with Weirdwolf is that he does it all the time. And in an uncomfortably loud, sing-song backward way. "Destroy the Autobots I shall. Rip their faces off how nice it would be." and so on. This habit doesn't impair Weirdwolf's abilities. He's cruel, vicious and incredibly deadly. But it does unsettle his fellow Decepticons, especially in the midst of a tense battle. Weirdwolf is binary-bonded to Monzo, a brutish professional hyperwrestler-turned-underworld-nightclub-owner. If Weirdwolf was lacking anything in the sadistic department before, his Nebulan partner more than makes up for it. The two are ideally matched, delighting in the pain and carnage they deal out with savage abandon. These two like minds, constantly seeking the thrill of combat, have no room left for fear, making Weirdwolf a warrior without compare. The only trouble is, as Headmaster, the internal conversations are sometimes three-way! Abilities: Though in robot mode Weirdwolf wields a photon pistol (firing high frequency energy particles) and a thermal sword (capable of cutting through steel three inches thick), he tends to rely heavily on hand-to-hand combat. Although he strenuously denies it, it is widely assumed that this is Monzo, unable to forget his time as a professional hyperwrestler, exerting a controlling influence on the shared mind. Weirdwolf doesn't care. Up close suits him just fine, because it enables him to switch to wolf mode and use his tungsten-tipped claws on hapless Autobots. In this form, Weirdwolf comes equipped with nose module tracking sensors, capable of reading smell, infrared heat images and air current patterns. He can leap eight miles in a single bound. Weaknesses: Weirdwolf's crossed mental wires can sometimes ruin an otherwise faultlessly silent approach. Just when he's ready to pounce on the unsuspecting Autobot he's been tracking for the last twenty miles or so, he'll open his mouth and say "die you now!" and ruin the whole thing! It's become so like thinking to Weirdwolf, he doesn't realize he's speaking aloud.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐Printer-friendly version WHEELJACK www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Wheeljack.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: MECHANICAL ENGINEER FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "Never do what your enemy expects you to do." Profile: "That guy can build a neutron bomb out of a wristwatch and a rusty can," says Bluestreak, and that's not far from the truth. As well as the Ark fashioned the Autobots, Wheeljack is always coming up with ways to improve them, particularly their weaponry. His knack for creating wild new gadgets has earned him a "mad scientist" reputation and their deadly effectiveness has earned him the respect of friends and enemies alike. He is also the Autobot most adept at driving while in his automobile mode and has pulled off tricks that Hollywood stunt drivers haven't even dreamed of yet. He fully enjoys showing off when the opportunity presents itself. Abilities: In addition to those mentioned above, Wheeljack, while in Autobot mode, can use the solid-fuel rockets in his arms to fly at speeds of 320 mph with a range of 800 miles. His shoulder-mounted cannons shoot a variety of shells: a magnetic-inducer shell, which douses its victims in a magnetic dust that attracts ferrous objects from distances up to 4000 feet away that adhere to and eventually disable the victim; a shrapnel-needle shell, which explodes into millions of hair-thin filaments that can pierce even the strongest armor and disrupt internal circuitry; and a gyro-inhibitor shell, which implants itself upon impact and destroys the balance of its victims. Wheeljack is continually adding new gimmicks to his shells. Weaknesses: Wheeljack is his own worst enemy. He frequently injures himself while experimenting with new weapons.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WIDELOAD www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Wideload.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT SUB-GROUP: THROTTLEBOT FUNCTION: MATERIALS TRANSPORT FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 30 "Look good and you'll have the world in your pocket." Profile: Wideload is usually so dirty one would think he sweated grease. But muck-encrusted appearances can be deceiving - Wideload is a neatness fanatic. He despises his Autobot role because of its messy nature. So obsessed is he with looks that seldom does he consider the quality of a being's character when making a judgment about him, her or it. He makes no secret of his vanity. He spends most of his free time polishing his finish or having another Autobot do it for him for pay (which usually takes the form of surplus fuel that Wideload had been lugging). He takes no special pride in his great strength and endurance; he'd much rather be savoring the scent of a flower than be hauling a dumpsterful of spare parts. Abilities: Wideload is extremely strong. He can lift or carry up to 1,000,000 pounds in his dumpster. His range in truck mode is 1400 miles. Chemical sensors within his hands and tires allow him to determine the chemical composition of most substances almost instantaneously. The Autobots rely on him and this ability to discover new sources of raw materials. Weaknesses: Wideload is unusually susceptible to rust, a problem he finds particularly embarrassing since he takes such extreme pride in his appearance. He's not particularly adept at driving over rough terrain and easily gets bogged down in muddy, swampy environments.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WILDRIDER www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Wildrider.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: STUNTICON FUNCTION: TERRORIST FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 22 "Either you're out of my way or you're out of luck." Profile: Look out, motorists! The road hasn't been built yet that's big enough to handle Wildrider! Some of his fellow Stunticons attribute his reckless behavior to be a calculated attempt by Wildrider to enhance the atmosphere of fear he tries to create in his role as a terrorist. But those who know him better realize it's not an act - he really is that nuts! As his fellow Stunticon Breakdown puts it, "When he's driving, I'd rather take a plane." Abilities: Wildrider can reach 250 mph in car mode, and has amazing maneuverability. In robot mode, he uses a scattershot gun, which can spray a fifty-square yard area with searing, ripping laser beams at a distance of mile. With it, he can demolish a small 5-story building in two minutes. He combines with his fellow Stunticons to form the giant robot "Menasor." Weaknesses: Wildrider fears quiet. He suspects enemies are lurking, ready to pounce on him, if all he hears are the sounds he produces himself. This gets him very nervous and hampers his effectiveness. In car mode, he is prone to tire blow-outs due to the crazy way he drives.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WINDCHARGER www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Windcharger1.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "Quick action equals quick victory." Profile: Windcharger is the fastest Autobot of them all - for short distances. He can go from 0 to 60 mph in automobile mode in almost no time whatsoever, and that makes him useful in certain situations requiring very fast, very decisive action. His personality is similar: what Windcharger decides he decides immediately. He glances at something and moves, seldom bothering to ask questions. This may be because his attention span isn't particularly long. He becomes instantly enthusiastic and a few hours later loses interest. His impatience often diminishes his usefulness in lengthy, complex courses of action. Abilities: In robot mode, Windcharger's arms act as the positive and negative poles of a magnet. He can cast powerful magnetic fields at distances up to 700 feet. He can levitate a 10-ton block of steel at that distance. He can attract objects that are affected by magnetism toward him or repel them. At closer distances he can rip them apart. Weaknesses: If overused, his magnetic ability uses up tremendous amounts of power. Hence, he must be careful in using it. Unfortunately, Windcharger is seldom careful and so is prone to debilitating burn-outs.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐WINDSWEEPER www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Windsweeper.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: TRIGGERCON FUNCTION: AIR DEFENSE FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 48 "Uninvited guests soon become smouldering wrecks." Profile: Before the war Windsweeper was head of the Department of Sanitation on Cybertron. He took an almost perverse pride in keeping the streets and subterranean circuit-tubes of his home world clean and in proper working order. He would have violators - "litterbots," as they were called - thrown into prison for infractions as minor as dripping oil in public. In defense of his extreme actions he would say, "A tidy planet is a mighty planet," to his critics. "Leaky-engined litterbot-lovers," he would call them behind their backs. So it is no surprise to anyone who knows him that today he still practices what he used to preach, but this time in the service of the Decepticons. In his air defense role he patrols the skies constantly, shooting down almost anything he sees: insects, birds, wind-blown leaves, kites, Autobots, even other Decepticons if they are not quick enough to identify themselves before he fires. He feels that the sky is his home, and so he has the right to keep it as clean as he wants... in his case, very clean. Among the Transformers, Windsweeper's meticulousness is notorious... as is his maliciousness. Abilities: In jet mode Windsweeper has the ability to use the high-intensity heat generators in the edges of his wings to melt and cut through solid steel. Most often the steel is contained within the fuselages of enemy aircraft. He has a maximum speed of 2100 miles per hour and a range of 5000 miles. In both robot and jet modes he is also equipped with long-range infra-red scanners, sensitive enough to detect a warm lug nut in a junkyard 20 miles away. He is also armed with two powerful, lock-target, long-range laser cannons. Weaknesses: Windsweeper's natural revulsion to dirt, grime, and all things untidy in general elicits a pronounced unbalanced behavior pattern in him. He loses his ability for clear, logical thinking, he becomes agitated and emotional, and on especially disturbing occasions he has been known to literally blow a fuse. Basically, the best offensive measure to take against Windsweeper is to throw garbage at him.
