🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Menasor.jpgMENASOR ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: STUNTICON FUNCTION: SUPER WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 22 "Leave no Autobot uncrushed." Profile: A clanking, crushing terror that destroys all in his path, Menasor is the ultimate Decepticon weapon - or, in theory at least, should be. For underneath his thick-plated hide is a mind wracked by indecision and conflict. All his actions are the hard-fought results of this ongoing internal struggle. Menasor is designed to mesh the thoughts of his five Stunticon components - Motormaster, Dead End, Breakdown, Drag Strip, and Wildrider - into one single-minded destruction machine. But Motormaster is so thoroughly loathed by the other four that a mental rift develops within Menasor, giving him a violently unstable personality. Although he strives to perform his lethal duties, Menasor is sometimes too confused to do anything but haphazardly lash out at anything near him. At these times his hands reach for his head as he strains to clear his thoughts. Like a child throwing a tantrum, he is at his most uncontrollable in this state - and also his most dangerous. Abilities: Menasor has tremendous strength - he can punch with a force of 140 tons. His armor is nearly impervious to all but the most powerful artillery. He uses Motormaster's cyclone gun to blow through Autobot barriers and carries a silver sword to slice through whatever's left. Weaknesses: Menasor's split personality is often a severe handicap to his successful operation. His lumbering, slow gait makes him an easy target - but he's still a tough nut to crack.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Metroplex.jpgMETROPLEX ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: BATTLE STATION FIRST APPEARANCE: - "Vigilance is the foundation upon which victories are built." Profile: Possessed of startling versatility and staggering strength, Metroplex is the robot they depend on when all other options are exhausted. In battle, he is a mighty instrument of titanic destructive force, unwavering and ever-valiant in his attack. The very ground trembles when he unleashes the explosive energies of his weaponry. But despite his enormous power, Metroplex suffers from extreme modesty. In fact, he often berates himself for not being able to contribute more to the Autobot cause, a comment that never fails to mystify his comrades and even causes some to shake their heads and laugh at its absurdity. Metroplex's role usually prevents him from being in the front lines, a situation he finds frustrating, but one the other Autobots understand and accept completely. Their friendship and respect for him is clear evidence of that. And they all prefer Metroplex in his current role. Knowing he's backing them up is a constant source of reassurance. As one Autobot once said, "No matter what happens to the rest of us, the war's not over as long as Metroplex is there." Abilities: In robot mode, Metroplex has enormous strength. He can lift 70,000 tons. His armor is the equal of any Transformer's; to merely scratch it would require at least a low-yield nuclear explosion. He has left shoulder-mounted twin high-energy MASER (microwave amplification through stimulated emission of radiation) cannons and a retractable omni-directional receiving and transmitting rod antenna in his right shoulder. His chest module contains a storage bay capable of holding a mid-size vehicle. In Autobot City mode, he has a helipad and ramps leading to the storage bay and various repair bays. Using a full complement of armatures, welders, presses, microsensors, gauges and spare parts, he's able to service up to four vehicles at any one time. His left rear tower transforms into a tank called Slammer. Metroplex can control Slammer for a maximum range of 40 miles. Slammer's cannon shoots explosive rocket-propelled mortar shells that have a 1.5-mile range. Scamper, the small sports car berthed within Metroplex, carries side-mounted electro-blasters that shoots streams of 20,000-volt electricity. In robot mode, Scamper uses a high-energy particle beam pistol. Scamper has a maximum speed of 150 mph and a range of 500 miles. Six-Gun, the small robot made literally of six guns and Metroplex's central tower, is a walking, talking artillery battery. In addition to the twin surface-to-air guided missile launchers he wears on his back, Six-Gun has ion-pulse rifles for arms and sometimes uses a seventh gun, a high-temperature acetylene pistol that can melt through most metals. Scamper and Six-Gun operate independently of Metroplex. Each has a mind of his own, although each essentially has a personality nearly identical to Metroplex and is mind-linked to him and each other. Scamper tends to be more impulsive and gregarious, Six-Gun more belligerent. The three minds together can be considered units of a single, larger mind, although Metroplex's mind is clearly dominant. Metroplex mostly uses Scamper, Six-Gun, and Slammer to scout and defend his periphery, although occasionally he'll send one or more on short missions. Metroplex's final form, the mobile Battle Station, is a wheeled platform whose formidable firepower makes him virtually untouchable. In this mode, Metroplex can have up to 12 pieces of artillery blazing away simultaneously. In addition to the previously mentioned MASER cannons, ion-pulse rifles and missile launchers, he's equipped with twin independent mounted disruptor rays on top, capable of interfering with electric currents within a target's body; two laser lances; and two front-mounted anti-matter projectors, the most powerful of all his weapons, which are capable of producing and shooting minute packets of anti-matter that obliterate anything upon contact. Metroplex can also use all these weapons in his Autobot City mode. Weaknesses: Metroplex's autonomous units - Scamper, Slammer, and Six-Gun - are all relatively vulnerable to attack as compared to Metroplex himself. In Battle Station mode, Metroplex is a rather slow-moving vehicle, making him an easy target, but his weaponry usually more than compensates for this. Using his anti-matter projectors, however briefly, is tremendously draining for Metroplex and can leave him nearly energyless. Profile published in: TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE # 2

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Mindwipe.jpgMINDWIPE ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: HEADMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: VORATH FUNCTION: HYPNOTIST FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 2 "Just one look from me and you've lost." Profile: Mindwipe is perhaps the most mysterious and definitely the most mystical of all the Decepticons. When not performing his duties as a Decepticon warrior, he devotes his time to trying to establish contact with the electromagnetic essences of long-dead Decepticons. He hopes that by communicating with them he can learn from them and avoid making the same mistakes they did when they fought and were eventually defeated by the Autobots. So far, despite designing and constructing numerous receivers, antennas and other equipment, his labors has borne only limited success. He has managed to pick up a few stray broadcast signals bouncing around outer space from some Earth television programs of the 1950s and 60s, but little else. Of them, the TV show once known as "My Mother The Car" is his favorite. Mindwipe is binary-bonded to Vorath, the former Minister of Science of the planet Nebulos. Vorath was expelled from his office when Galen, a member of the ruling Council of Peers, uncovered Vorath's involvement in illegal medical experiments. When contingents of Autobots and Decepticons arrived on Nebulos and plunged the planet into war, Vorath saw an opportunity for revenge on Galen. Galen had allied himself with the Autobots, so Vorath eagerly volunteered to undergo the bio-engineering process that gave him the ability to transform and become the head module of Mindwipe. Although things didn't work out exactly as Vorath had hoped, he fully enjoys his new life as a Decepticon Headmaster. Abilities: In bat mode Mindwipe can fly at a maximum speed of 700 miles per hour, has a range of 1200 miles and has great strength. His eyes emit a sub-optic radiation that, although invisible, has the effect of overriding the self-will circuitry of almost any mechanical being who is unfortunate enough to look into them. In other words, he has the power to hypnotize Transformers. In robot mode he uses a viper pistol, which shoots a stream of liquid that paralyzes the neuro-circuitry of any mechanical being it hits, freezing the victim in his tracks for up to 30 minutes. Weaknesses: In his attempts to contact departed Decepticons, Mindwipe often becomes so involved in his self-induced trance-like states that he is unaware of anything else. This leaves him extremely open to enemy attack. He can be just as vulnerable while watching an old TV show, depending on how much he likes it.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Mirage.jpgMIRAGE ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "Who and what I am I hide from the enemy." Profile: Mirage is not thrilled about being with a bunch of rough-and-tumble freedom fighters like the Autobots. If he had a choice he'd be in Monte Carlo, or better yet, back on his beloved Cybertron hunting turbofoxes with his high-priced friends. Autobot leader Optimus Prime must constantly cajole him into continuing his service with the Autobots, but he feels it may be a losing battle. Despite his coolness to the cause, Mirage is a surprisingly effective and deadly fighter and an even more effective intelligence gatherer, which is the role he much prefers. Abilities: Mirage carries a rear-mounted electro-disruptor which is able to interfere with the circuitry of an opponent by casting discrete packets of electrical charges at him. Hence, he never is situated where he seems to be when it is in use, and can even use the disruptor to give himself the illusion of a different physical appearance, which he can sustain for up to six minutes. All of this contributes to his effectiveness as an intelligence agent. He can also hit a screw-head dead center from 200 yards with his armor-piercing hunting rifle. It shoots liquid-fuel-powered darts. Weaknesses: He's unsure of the Autobots and their cause, and consequently cannot always be fully trusted. Optimus Prime is well aware of his coolness to the group, but considers him too valuable to let go.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Misfire.jpgMISFIRE ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: TARGETMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: AIMLESS FUNCTION: INTERCEPTOR FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 1 (Misfire), HEADMASTERS # 4 (Aimless) "Keep shooting; eventually you're bound to hit something." Profile: When Misfire shoots, his fellow Decepticons run for cover. Although he insists that his aim is improving, he has yet to convince any of his comrades. And it's not for lack of trying that Misfire is so inept. His perseverance is legendary. He still holds the record for the number of times enrolled at the Decepticon Military College - 4,627 - and not graduating. The only reason he ever got out of the college was because the Autobots eventually attacked and destroyed it. But what he lacks in skill, he makes up for in enthusiasm. He is an unrelenting opponent, always overheating with excitement in anticipation of combat. He throws himself into action with all guns blazing, and doesn't stop shooting until he runs out of ammunition (which usually occurs before he hits anything worthwhile). Megatron values Misfire more for his ability to spread terror than anything else. "Because Misfire so rarely hits who he aims for," notes the Decepticon Commander, "it is all those whom he doesn't aim for who must worry." Misfire is paired with Aimless, a former construction engineer from the planet Nebulos. Aimless is a sleazy, careless con-man who habitually over-looked building defects in exchange for illegal payoffs when he still had a job on Nebulos. Realizing the dimming prospects of his career after a series of high-rise collapses, he seized upon the opportunity to ally himself with the Decepticons. He saw his partnership with Misfire as a new beginning full of promise and hope. But after being bio-engineered to have the ability to transform into Misfire's weapon, Aimless quickly showed his true colors. Unlike Misfire, Aimless doesn't even try to aim when he shoots. Like everything else in his life, he just doesn't care enough to bother. Abilities: Aimless converts to an ion particle blaster. He can pump up to 4,000 rounds of discrete clusters of high energy charged particles through his two barrels. Misfire converts to a proton-powered jet fighter. He's equipped with over-the-horizon pulse-doppler radar that allows him to spot flying craft within a 700-mile radius. His maximum speed is 1,200 mph, and his range is 1,200 miles. He can use weapon-mode Aimless in both robot and jet modes. Weaknesses: The shooting abilities of Misfire and Aimless are very poor. They can seldom hit a target before it hits them. Misfire's aggressiveness and above-average maneuverability partially compensate for this deficiency.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Mixmaster.jpgMIXMASTER ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: CONSTRUCTICON FUNCTION: MATERIALS FABRICATION FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 10 "How strong the steel, how quick the contest." Profile: Nothing is safe from Mixmaster's seething cauldron. He will use any material necessary, whether unliving rock or living robot, in the making of some new material. He's been known to swallow up brand new limousines and reduce them to steel girders. And he performs his often grisly tasks with an evil, cackling glee that more befits a medieval witch than a Constructicon. The manner in which he creates new materials resembles an arcane ritual. Sometimes his fellow Decepticons wonder if perhaps Mixmaster hasn't a few microchips loose in his logic center, but they never question the results of his efforts. Abilities: While having the appearance of a standard concrete mixer, Mixmaster can, by using various acids and bonding agents, reduce and recombine virtually any substances put inside his drum and use them to form new substances. He is a chemistry lab on wheels. Atop the roof of his cab, he can mount a powerful infrared cannon which emits bursts of 8000 C heat for an effective range of .8 miles. In robot mode, he carries a laser pistol and a shoulder-mounted optical distortion projector, which, by bending light waves, disorients the vision of anyone caught in its field. When combined with his fellow Constructicons, he serves as the left leg module in the giant robot known as Devastator. Weaknesses: Mixmaster's mixing drum can be rendered inoperative by the addition of certain chemicals, particularly alkalides.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Nautilator.jpgNAUTILATOR ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: SEACON FUNCTION: UNDERSEA EXCAVATIONS FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 47 "Blame someone else before they blame you." Profile: Despite his fierce appearance and formidable weaponry, Nautilator is actually a stumbling, bumbling amphibious foul-up. Originally a land-based warrior, he underwent adaptive reconstructive surgery for oceanic combat on Cybertron without ever being tested to see if he had an aptitude for the undersea environment. Once he joined the Seacons, it became apparent to everyone that he liked that environment - he just wasn't very capable within it. His fellow Seacons have had to haul his chassis out of tidal undertows more times than they care to admit. Some of them secretly whisper, "Let him drown," whenever he calls them for help nowadays. They're also fed up with having to retrieve him - almost every time he goes on one of his underwater exploratory excavation missions, he usually gets lost. And to make relations with his comrades even worse, he's always quick to blame them for his mistakes. But there are very good reasons why the Seacons usually come to Nautilator's aid, as Snaptrap explains, "If he didn't bring back an occasional lost nuclear bomb from the ocean bottom, we'd have left him down there to rust a long time ago." Abilities: In his lobster mode, Nautilator uses chemical, thermal, electrical, magnetic, seismic and sonic sensors located in his legs and tail to search for and detect underwater fuel deposits and other materials useful to the Decepticon cause. His claws have an unbreakable grip and can pierce the thickest of ship hulls with minimal effort. He wields a triple crusher cannon, a weapon that shoots energon bands that encircle and trap their target, tightening around it until only rubble remains. He can mount the cannon on his mouth, convert to weapons mode and use it in a stationary position, or use it on land in robot mode. In weapons mode, he can also convert it to a torpedo cannon. He combines with his fellow Seacons to form the super-robot Piranacon. Weaknesses: Nautilator suffers from a defective gyroscopic circuit center, which accounts for his poor navigational skills. He also rusts relatively easily, and can stay underwater for no longer than 4 hours without suffering damage.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐NEEDLENOSE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Needlenose1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: TARGETMASTER HUMAN COMPONENTS: ZIGZAG AND SUNBEAM FUNCTION: AERIAL WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 62 "Get hip or get hit!" Profile: Needlenose was once the most renowned microchip designer on Cybertron. His "Chic Chips" line of computer hardware accessories became the fashion rage of its day. But, as with most fads, interest in Chic Chips eventually waned. Its disappearance was hastened when some of the more serious-minded Transformers, led by Optimus Prime, pointed out the frivolous nature of Needlenose's enterprise. Embittered by this experience, Needlenose gladly joined the ranks of the Decepticons when they began their war with the Autobots. He has since developed the reputation of being the coolest Decepticon ever to crush an Autobot. But he is more interested in the style in which he destroys Autobots than in their actual destruction. In fact, he is so fashion-conscious that he rarely finds the time to even participate in battle. This is particularly true when he is on Earth, where he is especially fascinated by the latest in human fads. His current favorite is video games. Needlenose is binary-bonded to the Nebulans, Zigzag and Sunbeam. Zigzag was an unhappy hovercraft repairman on Nebulos. His inability to properly use a laser welder made him particularly ill-suited for his job. Usually the vehicles that he was assigned to repair were worse off after he worked on them. His fellow workers ridiculed him for his ineptitude. They derisively called him "Ziggy" rather than his real name. Seeing an alliance with the Decepticons as a way to get even with his tormentors, he eagerly offered his services to the leader of the Nebulos-based Decepticons, Scorponok, who happily accepted him into the ranks of his warriors. After putting him through the bio-engineering process, Scorponok paired him with Needlenose. The Nebulan gave himself the code name "Zigzag," which he thought sounded strong and put an ironic twist to his insulting nickname. However, the Decepticons soon found his services to be as wanting as had the Nebulans. Sunbeam was an irresponsible beach bum on Nebulos before he discovered the Decepticons. His greatest ambition was to go rocket-surfing on the 50-foot tall waves that occurred annually on his home planet's Magna Beach. But, having accomplished that, he needed new challenges. So, for the opportunity to rocket-surf on other worlds, he joined the Decepticons and underwent bio-engineering. He was then paired with Needlenose and trained in aerial combat. He views the warrior aspect of his job as a necessary nuisance. He says, "If I have to scrap a few 'Bots so I can ride the Mercury Breakers on Cybertron, well like, hey, no problem, dude." Abilities: Needlenose transforms into a fusion-powered fighter jet. His maximum flying speed is 2400 miles per hour, and his range is 4000 miles. He is equipped with air-to-air proton missiles. Zigzag transforms into a twin electrostatic overloader rifle, which can disable a mechanical opponent by flooding his circuits with a surge of electricity, causing him to overload and shut down. Some of his victims even explode. However, Zigzag's accuracy is poor, so most targets escape unscathed. Sunbeam converts to a solar-powered light-burst discharger. A flash from his muzzle causes temporary blindness in all opponents except those whose optical modules are properly shielded. Needlenose can use Zigzag and Sunbeam in robot and jet modes. The two Nebulans can also combine to form a single weapon, which retains the offensive capabilities of both its components. Weaknesses: Zigzag often runs out of energy before he hits a target. Sunbeam's firepower is diminished in situations when the sun isn't shining

🌐 The Global Network 🌐NIGHTBEAT www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Nightbeat.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT SUB-GROUP: HEADMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: MUZZLE FUNCTION: DETECTIVE FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 62 "Truth is revealed in the smallest detail." Profile: Nightbeat is a tough, no-nonsense type who is not afraid to break the rules to get what he wants. And usually what he wants is the solution to some complicated mystery... and he'll go anywhere to get it. He feels as comfortable driving down a dark alley as he does cruising along a six-lane super-highway. He has an intuition for finding the truth that defies all known theories of programming. In trying to account for Nightbeat's remarkable talent, Optimus Prime suspects that the circuitry in the digital detective's logic center may accidentally have been wired in a way contrary to accepted robotic engineering procedures. But the Autobot Leader is still at a loss to explain why Nightbeat thinks the way he does. Nightbeat prefers to work alone. Most partners don't understand his methods and his reasoning, and often wind up hindering his investigations more than helping them. But being a good soldier, he doesn't complain about his fellow Autobots... instead he tries to compensate for their investigatory deficiencies by working even harder. He is binary-bonded to Muzzle, a human who worked as a detective on Nebulos until he was framed in a scandal that put him out of business. When he found out that an Autobot with training in detective work was looking for a Nebulan partner, Muzzle immediately volunteered. He considered this an opportunity to continue doing what he loved to do the most. After undergoing the bio-engineering procedure that allows him to convert to an Autobot head module, Muzzle quickly discovered that he and Nightbeat have one of the smoothest-working binary bonds among all the Headmasters. Muzzle's eye for detail makes Nightbeat an even better detective than he was without him. Abilities: Nightbeat carries two photon pistols and a high-powered plasma blaster with infra-red sight. He also has enhanced audio and video sensors that aid in his investigatory work. From five miles away, he can hear a screw fall and count the threads on it. In car mode he can travel at speeds of up to 620 miles per hour and has a range of 1500 miles. Weaknesses: Nightbeat's overconfidence in his abilities typically persuades him that he can handle almost any situation by himself. Given his preference for working alone, he often suffers damage that a more team-oriented Autobot might avoid.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐NOSECONE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Nosecone1.jpgwww.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Nosecone2.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT SUB-GROUP: TECHNOBOT FUNCTION: ASSAULT VEHICLE FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 1 "It's not who's the fastest, it's who reaches the finish line." Profile: As a result of his very disciplined training in the dangerous but vital job on thermal-energy magma-miner back on Cybertron, Nosecone has developed into a very careful warrior. He's slow and methodical in everything he does, weathering enemy artillery fire with the same calm that he exhibits when his fellow Autobots criticize him for his apparent laziness. His attempts to explain his cautious tactics to them usually fall on deaf audio modules and elicit good-natured laughter. But then, Nosecone doesn't realize that his friends are just having a little fun at his expense: Autobots appreciate results, and when Nosecone finishes turning an enemy fortification into steel Swiss cheese, the results of his efforts are unmistakable... and the respect granted to him by his fellow Autobots is obvious. Abilities: In vehicle mode, Nosecone's most distinctive feature is also his most formidable asset: his durabyllium-steel alloy drill can pierce almost any material, and it is virtually indestructible. He also packs two rocket-propelled missiles that use a videocom tracking system to lock on to targets. He's slow of speed, but his treads can carry him across any terrain and up the steepest slopes. In robot mode, he is armed with a high-powered X-ray laser pistol. He combines with his fellow Technobots to form the super-robot Computron. Weaknesses: Nosecone's slowness often lands him in the middle of trouble - namely, a Decepticon artillery barrage. And although his drill is impervious to most weapons fire, his treads aren't, so he often is left immobilized. He also has a tendency to overheat while drilling through very dense substances.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OCTANE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Octane.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: FUELER FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 29 "He who has fuel has power!" Profile: Octane is a greedy, mean-spirited bully. Just to prove his own value, he's more than willing to let a Decepticon slip painfully into inoperative status rather than offer him a drop of life-saving fuel. Only after his thirsty victim begs for fuel and praises Octane does Octane relent. He entertains himself by forcing vehicles to swerve off highways and commercial aircraft to abort landing approaches at airports. Crashes caused by him make him howl with laughter. He rebuffs requests by other Decepticons for him to end these wasteful, pointless actions. "I don't tell them how to have their fun," says Octane, "and they have no business telling me how to have mine!" Abilities: In jet mode, Octane has a range of 7000 miles and can reach a speed of 750 mph. In tanker mode, his range is 65,000 miles and he can go up to 90 mph. He can carry 10,000 gallons of fuel and has internal equipment that modifies oil-based fuels into fuel the Transformers are able to use, or solid fuel. He has internal hoses that he uses to drill for and siphon off liquid fuel sources. He is likely to attack a gas station or another tanker truck in his quest to acquire fuel. In robot mode, he carries a liquid-flame thrower, powered by his fuel reserves, and a deflecto-shield, which turns back whatever beam or artillery that hits it upon whoever shot it. Weaknesses: In tanker truck mode, Octane is generally heavily armored to protect himself and his fuel tank. However, he is extremely vulnerable to a hit from below the tank. He is not an effective combatant in the air since he has virtually no offensive capabilities in jet mode.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OMEGA SUPREME www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Omega_Supreme.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: DEFENSE BASE FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 19 "Unyielding resolve has no conqueror." Profile: Omega Supreme is the ultimate defensive force. Although he has great strength, it is his even greater courage which truly distinguishes him. Against overwhelming odds, he will stand unwaveringly and fight with every last microchip of his mechanical being. His fellow Autobots consider him serious, even grim, but those with insight know the reason why: the enormity of the responsibility placed on Omega Supreme. He is designed specifically as the Autobots' last line of defense. It is his job to protect the Ark and anything else considered vital to the Autobot cause. He knows that should he fall in battle, chances are there will be no other Autobots left by that point to take over his role. His is a situation Omega Supreme finds both challenging and chilling. He would have it no other way. Abilities: In robot form, Omega Supreme possesses enormous strength and firepower. A blow from one of his arms can shatter a mountainside. With his clawed arm he can lift 300,000 tons. The plasma blaster on his other arm can pulverize a solid 12' 12' 12' steel cube. The laser cannon mounted on his head can hit an object as small as a can at a distance of 50 miles. His armored form is virtually impervious to all non-nuclear explosives and energy-beam weapons. He can change his form into two other forms simultaneously: a laser cannon tank and a rocket with launching pad. The launching pad can boost its rocket into planetary orbit. The rocket is adaptable to communication, military and transport uses. Weaknesses: In both intelligence and speed, Omega Supreme is a bit slow and plodding. He makes an easy target, but his enormous firepower can usually compensate for that.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐ONSLAUGHT www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Onslaught.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: COMBATICON FUNCTION: COMBATICON COMMANDER FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 24 "The mind is the greatest weapon." Profile: Perfection is what Onslaught seeks. He believes the key to a mission's success lies in its planning, not in its execution. Thus, a perfect plan virtually guarantees a victory. Onslaught prefers the intellectual battlegrounds of the mind, where he can carefully devise and polish his sinister schemes, to the physical battlegrounds of the war, where events don't always unfold as expected. The four Combaticons under his command consider him aloof, even dreamy, but a brilliant tactician. Typically, Onslaught takes a backseat role in the assaults he plots, choosing to observe and re-evaluate his strategy rather than actually engage in combat. But, when stirred to action, he is a relentless, furious fighter, a terrifying contrast to the reserved thinker he is otherwise. This side of Onslaught's personality comes as a surprise to most of the other Decepticons, but those who understand him know his violent behavior is born out of frustration that his plan didn't work, forcing his involvement, rather than any suppressed lust for battle hidden in his character. Abilities: In missile trailer mode, Onslaught can reach speeds of 100 mph. His range is 2400 miles. He can launch photon missiles, with a range of 6500 miles. Each missile contains three independently targetable shells, each of which has an explosive force equivalent to 3000 tons of TNT. In robot mode, he uses a sonic stun-gun, which is capable of crumbling a hillside with one blast. He combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the giant robot Bruticus. Weaknesses: Onslaught often puts too much faith in his plans and winds up going along with them longer than he should. Consequently, he doesn't get personally involved as quickly as changing situations might warrant. Electromagnetic interference can impair the accurate targeting and delivery of his missiles.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OPTIMUS PRIME www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Optimus_Prime1.jpgwww.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Optimus_Prime3.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: AUTOBOT LEADER FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." Profile: If he had been on Earth, he would be a doctor, a mechanic, a scientist and a warrior. But on Cybertron there is no difference between these professions. So Optimus uses his skills to heal and repair - which are the same things to Autobots - to improve the world around him and, if necessary, to fight. Both in power and intelligence, he has no equal. He has the personality of an Abraham Lincoln. He can be immensely kind and his compassion extends to all that lives, including the creatures of Earth. Yet he will battle unceasingly to protect the weak and defend what he believes in. To accomplish this, Optimus knows that the Decepticons must be defeated for all time. Abilities: In robot mode, Optimus Prime actually splits into three components. The Optimus module is the robotic sentient being that is the storehouse of his vast knowledge and strength. He can lift 4000,000 lbs. and a blow from his fist exerts a force of 12,000 lbs. per sq. inch. He carries a laser rifle and can burn a hole in the nosecone of a Decepticon jet fighter at a distance of 30 miles, aided by his outstanding visual acuity. His Prime module, also known as Roller, is a small cart-shaped device that he uses to unobtrusively slip behind enemy lines. He can maintain radio control over it at distances up to 1200 miles. Having Roller present somewhere is like being there himself. He can operate by remote-control his Combat Deck module up to a distance of 1500 feet. The Auto-Launcher mounted on the Deck can use a variety of artillery and radiation beam weapons, including most of those used by his fellow Autobots. The Launcher also includes a highly dexterous grapple-arm which allows it to load itself and change its weaponry. The communications disk antenna mounted on the launcher provides a link between Optimus and all his fellow Autobots within a radius of 50 miles. It can be adapted to a satellite hook-up that increases its effective range 10-fold. Weaknesses: Although Optimus Prime can function as three independent modules, injury to any one of the modules is felt by the other two. Roller is particularly vulnerable, especially in the behind-the-lines situations in which he specializes. However, the Optimus module is by far the most important component of the trio. Although he could survive without the other two, they could not survive without him. Otherwise, the only weakness he could be accused of having is being too compassionate and concerned about the safety of others. He would be a more effective military commander if he were more ruthless, but then he wouldn't be Optimus Prime.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OUTBACK www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Outback.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: GUNNER FIRST APPEARANCE: - "Rules are detours on the road of life." Profile: Outback thinks going by the book is going the long way. Confident in his own abilities as a warrior, he feels little need to follow someone else's plan. And he'll give anyone an argument who tries to tell him otherwise. In fact, when in vehicular mode, he feels little need to even follow paved roads! He'll cut across parking lots, sidewalks, backyards, virtually anything to get where he's going. Gruff, cantankerous, a Transformer of few words, Outback has few friends and even fewer who truly understand the reason for his anti-social behavior. Deep down, he believes he's destined to be another casualty in the Autobot-Decepticon war, so he doesn't do anything that he considers wasteful of his time while he's still functional. War is a serious business, and Outback believes it requires a serious - and total - commitment. Abilities: In vehicle mode, Outback can go up to 110 mph with a range of 800 miles. He can travel over the roughest terrain and his 4-wheel drive allows him to climb grades of up to 50 degrees. He carries a turret-mounted mortar cannon that shoots armor-piercing shells up to a distance of 3 miles. He is impervious to most artillery fire. Weaknesses: Outback's philosophy of self-sufficiency often results in his being alone and outnumbered in battle situations. He's prone to tire blowouts due to his penchant for traveling rough terrain.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OVERBITE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Overbite.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: SEACON FUNCTION: UNDERSEA TERMINATOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 47 "There are only two kinds of creatures: predator and prey." Profile: A menacing, mechanical monster whose presence makes any body of water unsafe for swimming - or anything else - Overbite is just about the most dangerous creature ever to prowl the ocean depths. And perhaps he's the most obsessed, as well, for he sees his life as an endless quest for prey. As soon as he finishes off one victim, he goes hunting for another. But as much as he enjoys his work, he looks to occasionally take time off to amuse himself. For fun he chomps holes into the sides of oil tankers and sinks cruise ships. As Overbite likes to point out, "The only thing better than swimming through an oil slick is swimming through an oil slick full of drowning fleshlings." Abilities: In shark mode, Overbite is virtually unbeatable in underwater combat. His attack is unrelenting. His teeth and talons can tear through the hull of a battleship. His liquid cooled, turbo-powered 3,500 horsepower engine propels him through the water at up to 70 knots. He never needs to surface, except for regular maintenance checkups. He carries a freeze beam blaster that can trap any underwater prey in a block of ice. He can transform to an amphibious weapons-base mode, in which he can create tidal waves by wagging his tail at super speed. His front end converts to a jawbreaker cannon, which shoots powerful metal-eating, salt-based corrosives. In this mode, when his fellow Seacons combine to form the super-robot Piranacon, Overbite serves as Piranacon's hand held weapon. Overbite also uses the jawbreaker cannon in robot mode. Weaknesses: Although virtually unbeatable underwater in shark mode, Overbite is quite literally like a fish out of water in robot mode on land. There he is slow, awkward and relatively weak. Needless to say, he prefers to remain aswim.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OVERKILL www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Overkill1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: - "Too much destruction is never enough!" Profile: Whether he's talking, terrifying or attacking, Overkill does everything to excess. Other Transformers have been known to run out of fuel while listening to one of his interminable tirades. So excessively does he rant and rave that potential victims often assume the role of an audience, laughing so much at his theatrics that they forget about the threat he represents. On the battlefield, he's usually so busy proving how tough he is by snapping cars between his powerful jaws or flattening small buildings with a swipe of his tail that he loses sight of what he's there for. This often leaves him wide open to Autobot counterattacks. Even when he's actually engaged in combat he will sustain his attack long past the defeat of his opponent. Overkill talks a better fight than he actually fights. Abilities: Overkill can record messages when he shrinks to cassette mode, but he primarily uses this mode as a devious way to strike at opponents. Once he's sneaked up on them he transforms to his full-size tyrannosaurus mode and launches surprise attacks. In that form, he has tremendous strength. He can rip open the hull of a battleship with a single swipe of his titanium steel claws. He's armed with two batteries of motion missiles, which zero in on their targets by responding to the targets' movements. The missiles are sensitive to the movement of any object larger than a baseball. The best way to avoid getting hit by them - they explode on contact - is to stand absolutely still. Weaknesses: A defect in Overkill's transformation circuitry often results in him not being able to complete his transformations. Specifically, he transforms from cassette to tyrannosaurus, but he's unable to grow to his full size. He remains the size of the cassette. When he's stuck at this size he's no more of a threat than a particularly vicious rat. Profile published in: TRANSFORMERS # 57

🌐 The Global Network 🌐OVERRIDE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Override.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT SUB-GROUP: TRIGGERBOT FUNCTION: SCOUT FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 46 "Let your actions do your talking and no one will misunderstand you." Profile: Override is a proud, loud, two-wheeled fighting machine whose favorite pastimes are tearing up roads and shooting up Decepticons. He doesn't know the meaning of the word "muffler." He figures that if people can hear him from a distance and know that he's coming, they're less likely to hang around and mess with him when he gets there. Even though his style is to go into battle with guns wildly blazing, he's more concerned with keeping the roads he travels clear of innocent vehicles for his safety than for theirs. He worries that in their confusion to get away from him, some of these vehicles might accidentally bump into him, leaving a dent or worse. Override is vain to a fault. He spends most of his non-combat time polishing his steel skin and lubricating his joints. As much as his fighting prowess inspires fear in his enemies, his reaction to any poor unfortunate who accidentally scratches his surface inspires even more fear in his friends. Abilities: In cycle mode Override is equipped with an armored, reinforced windshield that is made of a special diamond-plastic alloy, which can withstand all explosive and energy beam weapons fire. He is also equipped with two double-barreled, side-mounted, armor-piercing particle beam cannons, which he can also use in robot mode. His maximum speed is 220 miles per hour and his range is 1200 miles. He can shift into "override gear" by engaging his rear-mounted rocket pack. This enables him to accelerate to 500 miles per hour within 1.5 seconds and maintain that speed for up to 90 seconds. Weaknesses: Use of the "override gear" for more than 20 seconds at a time leaves Override physically weakened and vulnerable to attack. However, since he generally uses this gear to escape attack by outracing his enemies, he seldom finds this a problem. Given his sensitivity about his finish, the slightest nick to his surface can send him into a tailspin of depression and leave him a useless, emotional wreck - at least until he or someone else repairs the defect.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PERCEPTOR www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Perceptor.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: SCIENTIST FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 17 "One's ultimate truth lies in one's molecular structure." Profile: Perceptor's thirst for knowledge is unquenchable. He will seek it to the exclusion of all else. To him, being on Earth is like a miner finding a new vein of gold - each eagerly plumbs untold riches, neither knowing when his source will run out, if ever. Perceptor's specific role in the Autobot cause is studying how best the Autobots should adapt to Earth, and conversely how Earth's alien environment is affecting the Autobots. Autobot Leader Optimus Prime considers this research vital to the Autobots' survival as long as they're marooned on Earth. Although good-natured and friendly, Perceptor is not easily drawn into joining with other Autobots to do anything other than his work. Abilities: Perceptor is extremely intelligent. His capacity for data storage is second only to Optimus Prime's. Although familiar with all the sciences, his specialties are metallurgy, molecular chemistry, and electrical engineering. He has two different capacities in microscope mode. He can magnify objects up to 10,000 times as an optical microscope and up to a million times as a scanning electron microscope. Using his magnifying lenses to concentrate and intensify its beam, he can convert his lens barrel to a powerful light cannon. It can blast a hole in a cinder block wall 2,000 miles away with pinpoint accuracy. He can use the cannon in robot mode or convert to a third form and use it as a stationary field artillery piece. He also carries a concussion rifle in robot mode. Weaknesses: If he were human, Perceptor might be called absent-minded, since he is rarely aware of anything but the work in front of him. He actually forgets at times that he is involved in a raging war and, as a result, is sometimes a casualty of it. His magnifying lenses, although resistant to cracking, are nevertheless the weak link in his make-up. Any problems with them not only can bring his work to a halt, but can also considerably reduce his offensive abilities.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PIPES www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Pipes.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: - "One being's junk is another's art." Profile: The more seemingly worthless a gadget, the more Pipes is fascinated by it. And he finds Earth a veritable gold mine of worthless gadgetry: carrot juicers, musical wristwatches, electric hair combers - the capacity of the human imagination never ceases to amaze Pipes! He is so enthralled by all this that he now collects these artifacts, creating a sort of mini-museum of American consumerism in an unused corner of the Ark. Pipes doesn't allow his hobby to interfere with his responsibilities to the Autobot struggle - at least not usually. Even while on a mission, he's been known to pull over to the curb and enviously ogle a human walking by using a hand-held, portable electric fan. Pipes explains, "The true collector never knows when or where he'll discover his next treasure." Abilities: In vehicle mode, Pipes can travel 100 mph, has a range of 400 miles and can haul up to 60 tons. His twin exhaust pipes, which become his arms in robot mode, emit corrosive gases that can dissolve a 2-inch thick slab of steel in 10 minutes. He is among the strongest of the Autobots. Weaknesses: Pipes is fairly tough, but even a mere scratch to his corrosion-resistant armor leaves him vulnerable to the destructive effects of his own exhaust gases. Often, in the heat of battle, Pipes is unaware of such blemishes and, consequently, sometimes succumbs to his own weapon.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PIRANACON www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Piranacon.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: SEACON FUNCTION: NAVAL ASSAULT FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 49 "To live is to hunt; to hunt is to live!" Profile: As the living incarnation of the six distinct and often feuding Seacon personalities, Piranacon might lead one to believe that his six-part mind must be confused and tormented. Quite the opposite is true. The bottom line on all Seacons is that they love what they do, and what they do best is hunt for prey. Piranacon is the truest expression of this lethal talent. From the moment the Seacons combine to form him, he is hunting for prey. When he finds and destroys one hapless victim, he immediately starts looking for another. He will continue this course of behavior until he runs out of fuel (which he inevitably will do since he never pauses to re-energize) or until he is stopped (which considering his awesome power, rarely happens). Usually, Seacon leader Snaptrap sets an internal timer in advance of combining with the other Seacons to insure that Piranacon will automatically disassemble into his component Seacons at some future time. Piranacon is so single-minded about his task that he will brush aside - if necessary, knock aside - any Decepticon who tries to talk to him about anything else. More than a few of his comrades have had a few screws jarred loose (and worse) by merely asking Piranacon if he would like his joints lubed, or some equally innocent question. "I wish I had a thousand more like him," Decepticon Commander Megatron says with a smile. Abilities: Piranacon's strength is immense. He can hold up to 4,000,000 tons, making him ideal for lifting freighters and various warships from the sea. He is fully operational up to a depth of 30,000 feet below sea level. He only walks at a maximum speed of 15 mph on land and 10 mph undersea, but since he is virtually impervious to weapons-fire, his need for speed in order to evade enemy attack is negligible. He wields a jawbreaker cannon (which is actually the weapons-base mode of the Seacon Overbite), which shoots powerful metal-eating, salt-based corrosives. Weaknesses: Piranacon has no known physical weaknesses. His one track mind often prevents him from accepting the advice and help of others, usually to his detriment. He jeopardizes his well-being by not attending to his own basic needs, such as refueling and removing rust spots. Profile published in: TRANSFORMERS # 59

🌐 The Global Network 🌐POINTBLANK www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Pointblank.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT SUB-GROUP: TARGETMASTER HUMAN COMPONENT: PEACEMAKER FUNCTION: TARGETMASTER LEADER FIRST APPEARANCE: HEADMASTERS # 1 (Pointblank), HEADMASTERS # 4 (Peacemaker) "Be brief of speech and long on action." Profile: Pointblank knows the horrors of war all too well. He's fought in one for millions of years. Whatever romance or glory it once held for him has long since vanished... as has the cheerful adventurer he once was. Today, Pointblank is a somber, no-nonsense soldier whose every utterance creaks with weariness. He joined Fortress Maximus's recent expedition to the planet Nebulos hoping to find peace. Instead, the war followed him and his fellow Autobots to their sanctuary. Pointblank came to the bitter realization that he could not hope to escape the war, he could only help to end it. Now he fights on, more determined than ever to defeat the Decepticons... and more convinced that an end to the war is nowhere in sight. But he's fairly quiet about his pessimistic outlook. "Words are what got us into this mess in the first place," he grumbles. "They do more harm than weapons." Pointblank's disposition improved a bit when he was paired with Peacemaker, a Nebulan law enforcement officer whose optimistic attitude is almost contagious. But so far Pointblank has displayed immunity to the Nebulan's best efforts to cheer him. Pointblank appreciates the attempt, but disapproves of the source. Although he understands the reasons behind the Autobot-Nebulan alliance, he does not accept them. The thought of spreading the war to another planet and people is anathema to the dour Autobot. Despite this, Peacemaker enjoys the challenge of loosening up his partner. He is a very patient man who believes that a positive outlook ultimately leads to success. And, as the partner of the sullen Pointblank, he's learned that patience is more than a virtue... it's a necessity. Abilities: Peacemaker is bio-engineered to transform into a stereophonic sonic blaster. His maximum power output is an audio module-shattering 160 decibels, enough to splinter a cubic yard of solid steel into shrapnel. Pointblank can transform into a rocket-powered ground vehicle, with a maximum speed of 320 mph and a range of 800 miles. In both robot and vehicle modes, Pointblank can wield weapon mode Peacemaker. Weaknesses: Pointblank is prone to tire blow outs at high speeds in vehicle mode. In weapon mode, Peacemaker sometimes comes loose from his moorings on vehicle mode Pointblank.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐POUNCE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Pounce.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: CLONE FUNCTION: INFILTRATOR FIRST APPEARANCE: - "Terror is the stage on which I perform." Profile: If ever there was a Decepticon equivalent (although most Autobots would say there's no difference at all) of Repugnus, Pounce is it. He's not as ugly, but he's every bit (if not more) as anti-social and downright vicious and nasty. Wily, silent, deadly and merciless, he's the right machine for the right job... namely the ones no one else wants! Though he's as savage and deadly as one could want, a lot of his success stems from the reputation (almost legend) he's skillfully built up around himself. No one (not even the Decepticons, it's rumored) knows when or where he will strike next. He hunts at night, striking silently and lethally and then melting back into the shadows. He works alone, deep in enemy territory, with an open-ended brief to destabilize the Autobot forces. When he does strike, pleas for mercy are wasted breath. Like Repugnus, the more disgusting it gets, the more he relishes it. Pounce cares little for the company of others, enjoying terrorizing his fellow Decepticons almost (but not quite) as much as he enjoys hunting and killing Autobots. As he has been known to mutter, "It's a dirty job... but someone's got to do it!" Abilities: In puma mode, Pounce can creep with virtually no noise at all and then leap up to a colossal seven miles to pounce on his unsuspecting prey. He possesses enhanced eyesight (including highly defined night vision) and an enhanced sense of smell. He can track virtually anything, anywhere. In robot mode the laser range finder and target lock system in his optical sensors provide 99.4% accuracy with his twin anti-personnel missile launching guns, both of which come complete with metal shearing bayonet attachments. He is the clone brother of Wingspan. Weaknesses: Apart from a somewhat inflated opinion of his own abilities (he tends to believe his own publicity), Pounce has no evident weaknesses.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐POWERGLIDE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Powerglide.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 17 "To stop me, you have to catch me first." Profile: Powerglide is a show-off. While most of his fellow Autobots are literally grounded by their abilities, he can take to the air, and he is exceedingly proud of that fact. He uses his ability to release brief bursts of great power to more than make up for his relatively slow flying speed. Consequently, his maneuverability is incredible. Whether putting on a show for his comrades or evading enemy fire, he delights in displaying his dazzling aerial virtuosity. And, like any showman, Powerglide only demands one thing from his audience after one of his performances - their appreciation. And he'll accept it from friend and foe alike. Abilities: In vehicular mode, Powerglide can reach a cruising speed of 500 mph. He can, for short periods, increase his power output dramatically and increase his speed to 3200 mph. His maneuverability is excellent; he can complete an aerial loop perpendicular to the ground with a radius of only .3 miles. He carries small concussion bombs and can shoot a short range high-temperature thermal beam from the tip of his nose module. He can also use the beam in robot mode. Weaknesses: As a result of the great confidence he has in his flying ability, Powerglide often gets into more trouble than he can handle with enemy jets. He has relatively little strength in robot mode.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PREDAKING www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Predaking.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: PREDACON FUNCTION: WARRIOR FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 25 "Destroy first, ask questions later." Profile: Although he's a living machine whose thoughts are dictated by a mass of microprocessors and logic centers, all of Predaking's actions seemingly result from swift, savage, animal instinct. The five Predacons - Razorclaw, Rampage, Tantrum, Divebomb and Headstrong - who comprise Predaking blend together so smoothly, their circuits integrate so seamlessly, that Predaking moves with a fierce fluidity that belies his multi-body construction. He doesn't think, he only reacts. Whether his optical sensors detect the movement of a jumbo jet or an ant, his response is the same, virtually instantaneous and usually deadly. Only other Decepticons can escape being targeted by this hair-trigger horror, and even they worry that in some instance Predaking might mistake them for the enemy. But despite the ever-present danger he represents, the Decepticons value Predaking's abilities. As a warrior he has no equal; as a weapon he has no restraints. He is the closest thing to a perfect fighting machine the Decepticons have. Abilities: Predaking is monstrously strong. He can lift 500 tons without straining a circuit. He reacts to any movement he sees within .002 seconds. He can generate a powerful electric field about himself that dampens or repels any energy-based beams and prevents other Transformers from approaching any closer than 10 feet. One punch from his fist can shatter a 50-foot reinforced concrete cube. He wields a powerful X-ray laser cannon, whose blast has the equivalent explosive force of 100 tons of TNT. Each of his feet has a double-barrelled mortar shell launcher within it. Weaknesses: Predaking has no known weaknesses.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PROWL www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Prowl.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: MILITARY STRATEGIST AND ANALYST FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 1 "Logic is the ultimate weapon." Profile: He is quiet, competent, and very loyal, but perhaps his most valuable trait is his almost endless patience. Once Prowl is assigned a task, he will keep at it until it is accomplished. He works with proven facts, not imagination or guesses. If he has any doubts, he will radio Optimus Prime, his commander, before proceeding. He hates doubts in any form, and he strives to make everything he encounters reasonable and logical. He believes it only when he can explain it. On a personal level he is friendly, but not too sociable. He's a listener, not a talker, unless someone says something unreasonable. Then he will demand an explanation. Abilities: Prowl has the most sophisticated logic center of all the Autobots, giving him the ability to analyze any combat situation almost instantaneously and then advise on the optimal course of action. For example, Prowl can observe 800 moving objects, compute their probable paths of movement, and determine the proper countermove in .05 seconds. From his shoulder cannons he can shoot wire-guided incendiary missiles that reach temperatures of 12,000 degrees Centigrade upon explosion. He also carries a semi-automatic rifle that shoots pellets filled with a highly corrosive acid. Its range is 300 yards. Weaknesses: His dedication to logic and reason makes Prowl particularly vulnerable to the unexpected. Irrational and inexplicable situations can really scramble his circuits, sometimes to the point of total shutdown of his mechano-cortex center, leaving him temporarily dysfunctional.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐PUNCH www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Punch.jpgALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: DOUBLE AGENT FIRST APPEARANCE: - "In my business, there are no friends, only suspects." Profile: On the surface, Punch is as cool-headed and well-adjusted a character as you could wish to meet. At times of crisis, he keeps his head and takes command, his authoritative nature and imposing presence helping to calm those around him. Many are the Autobots who have admired his tight-lipped, stoic attitude. But Punch fools himself almost as completely as he fools others. He likes to think that he is a robot of few words because, in his business, to say too much is to invite death. In truth, Punch says little because he distrusts absolutely everyone! His role as double agent, constantly switching his appearance to Counterpunch so as to blend in with the Decepticon forces, has left him a paranoid bundle of neuro-circuits. He hides it well, but Punch is constantly on edge, guarding against possible betrayal (from his fellow Autobots) and discovery (by the Decepticons). Only Autobot leader Optimus Prime suspects that Punch's long undercover operations, taking him into the dark heart of the Decepticon camp, may be having an adverse effect. He sees not the calm, aloof warrior others see. He sees a powder keg, about to explode. Knowing how easily and confidently he walks with the Decepticons, Punch looks at his fellow Autobots, wondering if one of them is actually a Decepticon double-agent. Despite all of this, there is no doubting Punch's courage and dedication. Each time Punch receives another infiltration mission, Optimus Prime gives him the chance to back out with absolutely no loss of face. And each time, Punch remains silent. www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Counterpunch.jpg COUNTERPUNCH ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: DOUBLE AGENT FIRST APPEARANCE: - "In my business, there are no friends, only suspects." Profile: When Punch becomes Counterpunch, he not only changes his outer appearance; his whole personality changes as well. The bizarre fact is, neither Punch nor Counterpunch are aware that there is any mental change. A psychomechanic could make a fortune out of him, because Punch/Counterpunch is one of the best examples of schizophrenia (or split personality). Though, as Counterpunch, he retains his Autobot sensibilities (and carries out his double-agent duties; infiltrating and reporting on Decepticon troop movements and capabilities), he becomes more Decepticon than Autobot. Like Punch, he is tight-lipped and resolute, but where Punch uses mercy and restraint, Counterpunch can be every bit as ruthless as other Decepticons. Even his 'fellow' Decepticons give him a wide berth, knowing him to be volatile and bad-tempered. A casual, jokey remark is often seen as a savage personal attack by Counterpunch, and rarely passes without some form of retribution from him. It can be theorized that perhaps the constant knife-edge pressure has gradually gotten to Punch, and that part of him has been lost, possibly irredeemably. So convincing is Punch's Decepticon alter ego that he was put in charge of the Decepticons' intelligence network, gathering information on the Autobots and controlling the many Decepticon field operatives. This role presents Punch/Counterpunch with a unique problem. How can he maintain his cover and get results, without compromising his fellow Autobots? The great fear is that one day, Counterpunch will take full control of the shared mind, spelling disaster for the Autobots!

🌐 The Global Network 🌐QUAKE www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Quake1.jpgALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON SUB-GROUP: TARGETMASTER HUMAN COMPONENTS: TIPTOP AND HEATER FUNCTION: GROUND ASSAULT FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS # 74 "Nothing lasts forever... so why not destroy it now?" Profile: Reason has never been known to slow the raging onslaughts of this destructive berserker. Quake attacks everyone and everything with a vengeance. Only persistent cries from his fellow Decepticons of "point your guns the other way" and "the Autobots are over there, you idiot" prevent him from blasting those on his own side. Otherwise, he doesn't stop shooting until everything around him lies in ruins or he runs out of ammo, whichever comes first. Quake gives Megatron sufficient reason to question one of his most cherished theories of military strategy: "I'd rather have a fool who shoots than ten trained warriors who hold their fire." As Megatron has learned, when that fool is Quake, the gun can be pointing at you. Quake is teamed with two Nebulans, Tiptop and Heater. Tiptop worked as a strongman in the Traveling Three-Sphere Circus of Nebulos. He lost his job after the careless use of his strength caused injuries to several of his fellow performers. Embittered, he signed up with the Nebulan-based Decepticons to seek revenge against his former employer. Heater was a smart-aleck street punk who spent most of his time hustling contraband pleasure pods in the back alleys of some of Nebulos's largest cities. When law enforcement officers began to close in on him, he underwent the same bio-engineering procedure as Tiptop and, like him, became binary-bonded to Quake. Abilities: In tank mode, Quake is capable of leveling an entire Class 5 Autobot defensive installation in minutes. He has a maximum speed of 75 miles per hour and a range of 250 miles. His titanium-alloy treads are coated with a special adhesive that enables him to climb up sheer cliff surfaces. He is equipped with a powerful plasma cannon which has a range of 40 miles. Tiptop transforms into a gyroscopic destabilizer, which destroys the balance of any target it hits. Heater transforms into a double photon pistol. In either tank or robot mode, Quake can use the two Nebulans in their weapons modes either singly, together or combined into one weapon. Weaknesses: Quake has a poorly designed cooling system. When attempting especially rigorous climbs, particularly up vertical walls, he often overheats and shuts down. Lacking common sense, in these situations he often pushes on anyway, which usually results in the meltdown of his transmission and fuel line systems.

Profile: Quickmix was a crabby, absent-minded professor at the Computechnic Institute of Microprocessor Engineering on Cybertron at the time Autobot-Decepticon hostilities began millions of years ago. His specialty was developing new materials that possessed enhanced energy-transmitting properties, a technology that, in the wrong hands, could be applied to improving weaponry. Although he wanted no part of the war, after repeated raids on his laboratory by a band of Decepticon bandits, Quickmix felt compelled to join the Autobots. But first, as going away present of sorts, he rigged his lab to blow up the next time it was broken into. Shortly thereafter, he returned. Amid the rubble of the devastated lab, Quickmix couldn't find enough pieces left of the Decepticon bandits to make into a charm bracelet. He achieved instant popularity among his new Autobot comrades. Now they know him as much for his impatience and short temper as for his brilliant inventions. He's constantly devising new formulas and gadgets to use against the Decepticons. In fact, he's so busy beginning new projects that he rarely sees old ones through to completion. Quickmix is teamed with the Nebulans Ricochet and Boomer. On Nebulos, the mercurial Ricochet was a renowned environmental sculptor, combining landscapes and foliage to create natural art forms. After witnessing the Decepticons' trampling some of his more famous sculptures, he joined the Autobots. As is the case with so many artists, Ricochet responds poorly to criticism in any form. Boomer is Ricochet's virtual opposite in personality. He is warm, friendly, generous - a pleasure to be around. He never has an unkind word for anyone, even the Decepticons. As head of the Consumer Complaint Agency on Nebulos, he learned to not take offense at anything. He concluded that if he could successfully deal with thousands of angry citizens, deterring a few dozen deranged Decepticons from conquering his world should be easy for him. And so he joined the Autobots. Abilities: Quickmix transforms to a ground vehicle with the outward appearance of an Earthen cement mixer truck. But in reality, his mixer tank contains a sophisticated system of sensors, gauges and catalytic agents, which allow him to create a virtually endless variety of chemical compounds and metal alloys. He applies many of these results to improving Autobot armor and weaponry. As a truck he has a maximum speed of 150 mph and a range of 450 miles. Ricochet is bio-engineered to convert to an automatic sub-machine gun that shoots metal-piercing, titanium-tipped bullets. Boomer is bio-engineered to convert to a ground-shaking, steel-shattering sonic pulse cannon, which sends out discrete waves of concentrated sonic energy. Ricochet and Boomer can also combine to form one weapon, which retains the capabilities of both components. Abilities: To operate properly and efficiently, Quickmix's mixing tank must constantly rotate. However, the tank often gets stuck. On those occasions when it contains volatile chemicals that are allowed to settle for too long, the tank... and Quickmix... can be seriously damaged.

🌐 The Global Network 🌐QUINTESSONS www.ntfa.net/universe/pictures/Quintessons1.jpgALLEGIANCE: UNICRON SUB-GROUP: QUINTESSON FUNCTION: ENFORCER FIRST APPEARANCE: THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE # 2 "Everyone is guilty until proven innocent - and even then he's guilty!" Profile: As cruel as a weasel toying with its prey and as persistent as a bloodhound on the trail of a fugitive, the Quintessons are the merciless enforcers of Unicron's will. They hunt down those who try to escape Unicron's wrath. Once the victim is captured, he is doomed. Guilty or innocent, the verdict is always the same - death. The Quintessons are composed of Guards, Gatekeepers, and one five-headed Judge. The Quintessons are the cruel masters of the endless legions of Sharkticons which carry out the Quintessons' verdict. Weaknesses: The Quintessons are few in number compared to the Sharkticons, and deathly afraid of them, for if the Sharkticons should revolt, there is nothing the Quintessons could do to stop them.
